How do you like your Oates? With some Hall, of course.

It's been a while since I've posted anything. Sometimes the well of shameful likes dries up. I think I have a good one for you here though. You could really listen to any Hall and Oates song and get the same feeling I get with this one. It's horrible, i should hate it, I can't stop listening. At any rate... enjoy the awesomeness that is "I can't go for that"

Huey Lewis and the News - Proving it's hip to be square. The list

It used to be hip to be square. Huey Lewis and the news will prove it with this 5 song list of the greatest Huey tracks. Most of them are from the album "Sports" which according to Christian Bale in American Psycho is where it's at. Here is the list from 5-1 with help from my wife.

5. "Hip To Be Square"

4. "Heart of Rock and Roll"

3. Oh my gosh, we have a tie! "If this is it" and "Happy to be Stuck with You"

2. This one is my favorite but I let Steph pick number one. "I Want a New Drug"

1. "Power of Love" You don't need no credit card to ride this train.

Britney and JT under the covers.

I found these tracks on thesixtyone which by the way is a great site to find and encourage many new artists. At an rate, these two tracks are interesting takes on a Britney Spears and Justin Timberlake songs. Give them both a chance (especially the second one below.) Go ahead be gone with it.

I'm putting it together and getting it all done.

Come on and climb The 5 Stairsteps onto the Soul Train and feel good about what's going on in your life. I know that I can be lame but this song really does hit that feelgood nerve and make things just a little bit better.

How many Chicago songs would you like to hear? 25 or 6 to 4?

Most of the cheesy Chicago songs were done in the 80's though I still thought I would ask my Dad what his favorite tracks were by them (He is a huge fan.) He didn't pick anything that I don't really want to admit I like but this isn't a band that I would typically admit I like. This band, like the Moody Blues, will totally surprise you with the amount of songs you might like by them. For your listening pleasure: CHICAGO

I'm a Man

25 or 6 to 4 (I still don't know what the hell this title means.)
